As per http://www.ubuntu.com/certification/ HCL, Wipro and eSys are
certified on end of life or near-end of life Ubuntu versions.
Simmtronics not listed there at all
Dell and Lenovo have many models listed in the site. Probably you should get
them to certify recent models with 10.04 LTS primarily.
BTW, may be beneficial for others:
A mail from simmtronics sales team given details below on versions supported
by them.
In Simmbook we used Ubuntu Ver 9.04 & 9.10
In Desktop we are using Ubuntu Ver 9.10 & 10.10
