Toshiba laptops have one of the best linux compatibility. I am running
debian on them since past 6 years and this is 3rd toshiba machine.

Also I do feel that dell and lenovo are churning out low quality stuff for
consumer grade laptops. Toshibas never ever had visited a service centre
till now.
