[ubuntu-in] not login in pc

dear sir,
i am using kubuntu 9.04.and just i upgraded kubuntu 9.10. theafter i cant
   log in in my pc.
   *i tried command CTRL ALT F2 .but i cant login in my pc.so please help
me.*
   *on display only my username coming .when i am enter my password.the
display
   for one second is entering in my pc .and then after comingout of previous
   page .and asking password.*
