Please find the photos of the Ubuntu and Debian release party that was
conducted by GLUG Mangalore in PA College here,

Close to 100 students attended the event.
It started with an introduction session on Free Software philosophy in the
morning. Post lunch, we watched the documentary "Revolution OS" to
understand the evolution of free software.
This was followed by the release party where Yajnesh briefed students about
the new features in Ubuntu 13.04, followed by the cake cutting which had
beautiful raring ringtail logo over it.
Over all, it was a wonderful event. Students from Bearys Insitute of
Technology and also from Vivekanada Institute of Technology, Puttur had
also attended the event. GLUG Mangalore which is in its very nascent stage
is looking for regular support from Ubuntu and other free software
developers so that we can regularly have sessions in various college in
Mangalore. Do ping me or Yajnesh if you plan to travel to Mangalore and can
take some time to interact with the students there and share your
experiences.
P.S. Sorry for not sharing any open gallery links. Unfortunately the photos
are not yet uploaded in any such open gallery.
