[ubuntu-in] Indic Support for Scribus

Hi

have been looking for Indic Support for SCribus

it was supposedly merged into version 1.4.3 but even after updating the
repos and installing the latest indic (devnagari fonts don't render
properly)

Some google searches reveal the existence of an scribus indic patch but no
where are there instructions on how to run the patch ??

Any advice on this front would be very welcome
