While an "ops only" restricted channel probably isnt a great idea, a
channel that we can discuss ops issues in real time, with multiple
people, is actually very helpful - otherwise we end up discussing op
stuff in one of the offtopic channels - and non-ops shouldnt have to see
that.
The mailing list is good, but it isnt real time - and some things do
just work better in real time. Note that i'm not saying the mailing
list is useless - far from it - just that both mediums are useful.
As long as we have the #ubuntu-ops that anyone can join, as long as they
dont create havoc, then I cant really see a problem with that.
And if you want it public, then stick ubuntulog in there, and log it.
