Nominees feedback

Which version of https://wiki.ubuntu.com/IrcTeam/IrcCouncil are we
following with this election?

Can we clarify and finalise this document first? It even includes the
nomination procedure!! This procedure needs to be solid before you go
off blindly electing random people with no defined expectations or
process.

If the 'new', 'unapproved' version which I thought was still under
discussion... I'm confused about the line...

"When the application deadline has passed, the IRC Council will review
the applications and provide a recommended board (or shortlist of
candidates) for the Community Council to review. "

Who chooses whether 'we' send simply a recommended board, or a
"shortlist of candidates"? They seem very different things. In the old
charter, approval by one member of the current IRCC was "essential".
Now, simply Ubuntu membership is "essential". A "shortlist" would
imply that the "essential" approval by an existing IRCC member has not
been lost.

Also, can you supply us with wiki pages/launchpad IDs? I only
recognise some of those nominations immediately.
