I think I neglected to mention something important for context that
other
people may be missing, here... these logs aren't from the other day,
but
from 6 February 2014. I was expecting the IRCC to follow up on the
discussion shortly thereafter (a "couple of days" to cite the logs),
but
unfortunately that didn't happen and I started to get the impression
that
the issue wouldn't be dealt with - and one way or the other, whether it
would result in action against me, or an affirmation that there was no
justification for such action, I definitely did want it to be dealt
with.

The reason I posted this email and the logs today, instead of at a
different time, has to do with another incident that happened in
relation
with #ubuntu-offtopic today, in which, coincidentially, some of the
same
people who were involved with the exchange that led me to retire the
FloodBots had important parts.

https://lists.ubuntu.com/archives/ubuntu-irc/2014-February/001648.html
contains the log of that, for reference.

Today's argument took place in #ubuntu-offtopic and #ubuntu-ops-team,
which are not supposed to be publicly logged, I believe, so unless the
IRCC has another idea, any of you who are curious as to what happened
could probably approach an involved party in private.
