Allora non e' proprio configurato. :/ Che cosa hai fatto per configurarlo 
nell'utilita' grafica di gnome? si trova a Sistema-> Amministrazione -> 
Rete. Se non riesci ancora, postaci il tuo /etc/network/interfaces. 

Possiamo eliminare ogni problema con il router? Per caso hai MAC filtering 
attivato (quello che permette soltanto alle schede conosciute dal router di 
collegarsi) oppure WEP/WAP encryption?
