Ti consiglio anch'io gnomad2.
Io uso uno Zen V Plus e funziona discretamente. L'unica cosa, stai
attento che /etc/udev/rules.d/65-libmtp.rules 
abbia le voci identificative "idVendor" e "idProduct" del tuo Zen.
Io per esempio, ho dovuto aggiungerle perchè non c'erano, quindi non me
lo vedeva.
