Helaas, Abiword zal voorlopig onvolledig vertaald blijven in 12.04...

Ik zal nog eens kijken wat de backport-insteek betekent die hij noemt,
want dat overzie ik nog niet geheel. Enfin, Janne Jokitalo heeft z'n
best gedaan, en niemand is gehouden tot het onmogelijke.

I wanted to let you know we decided against the updated translations, it wasn't
forgotten. There were too many strings changes between the snapshot in the
archives and now with the updates for translations, it would have broken the UI.

Also the Debian maintainer wanted to try a newer snapshot, but I never heard
from him in time so I assume it wasn't quite worry-free.

So, I'm sorry to say but we'll have to look into backporting, for instance, in
order to get a more up-to-date abiword into precise. Thanks for the interest,
though! Maybe you would be interested in getting it backported? If so, you can
use the `requestbackport' tool found in the ubuntu-dev-tools package to file
such a bug. Furthermore, it'd be great if you could also test it before it lands
that repository.

But it'll take some time until we get there. I'll let you know when it'd be
available.
