[Ubuntu-ma] Tuning for Linux applications

This document is about 10 years old, it still talks about Unixware7 xD

Please don't take this document into consideration! I confirm this is very
incorrect and things dont work as described there anymore!

vfstab is no more used in linux, only in Solaris/openSolaris for now.

there is no swap command anymore (try swapon but again it has nothing to do
with /tmp !!)

memfs is discarded, we have now tmpfs, ..
