For our mirror in Germany (10 GBit/sec) we get 27 MBit/sec on average
for releases and 12 MBit/sec on average for the packages. These numbers
correspond to data collected in the last year.

To put things into perspective, Debian has about 52 MBit/sec (we are
ftp2.de.debian.org) and Eclipse has about 15 MBit/sec.

On a technical note: As we count incoming traffic as negative traffic
(to meassure how useful a mirror is, i.e. negative totals indicate
that the world would be better off without our mirror) the actual
outgoing traffic is a tiny bit higher.

Best regards,
Carsten Otto
