I continue to discuss this issue on tomboy-list at beatniksoftware.com .

It is fairly trivial to remove the scribble from the variable (svg)
icon, and that is what I am hoping will be done.

I cannot live with "angry cheese" for six months, and I will be embarressed trying to convert others to Linux
with angry cheese on their screen ;-)

I am not an artist, but I tried playing around with the icon in both
gimp and inkscape, and did not find it particularly good looking with
any positioning of scribbles.

I don't think the "angry cheese" looks good at 48 pixels, or any size,
but for the love of non-angry cheese can the scalable (svg) by the clean
(nothing on it) pad? I could not navigate viewcvs, so I don't know if
you already have the images made. I am happy to provide gifs or svg with
a clean pad.
