If you create the same directory structure that exists under
/usr/share/icons you can replace all the icons for Tomboy. I took the
SVG that foolswisdon supplied and converted it in inkscape to the
required PNG files (16x16 for taskbar icons, 32x32 for application
switcher, the orginal scalable icon is used for the panel). Attached is
a TGZ archive that if you extract in your home directory will replace
all the Tomboy icons with different ones.
