I have beagle installed. That may be part of the problem.
During the crash, I was running synaptic, and have trouble because it
says my vmware player kernel-modules package is corrupt, so I tried to
remove it. But ...
When trying to remove it in Synaptic, I get the following error message:
E: vmware-player-kernel-modules-2.6.20-8: Package is in a very bad inconsistent state - you should
(That's the whole message.)
I think I submitted a synaptic crash report on the same subject.
If you need me to run anything just ask. I need a bit of hand-holding but am very willing.
