hi Daniel
can you tell me if there's something in your syslog and or dmesg when you get this error, maybe ide/scsi related error, this happens to you in gutsy as well or you compile f-spot 0.4.0 in your feisty installation?.
also, what version of libexif, libmono, etc do you have installed.
