Confirming. This is quite easily reproducible by searching for the term
'()'

chr1s at chris-desktop:~$ apt-cache policy monodoc
monodoc:
  Installed: 1.2.6-1ubuntu2
  Candidate: 1.2.6-1ubuntu2
  Version table:
 *** 1.2.6-1ubuntu2 0
