Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: f-spot

Brand new install of Ubuntu 7.10 Desktop AMD64, I installed the updates
then went to change the screen saver. I previewed several others then
clicked on f-spot photos. It locked the screensaver preferences. Force-
closing the Screensaver Preferences and re-opening it did not fix the
issue, neither did ctrl+alt+backspace nor a reboot.

I got around it by clicking on a different screensaver *immediately*
after opening the preferences, before the f-spot preview had time to
crash it.

My guess is that not having any photos on the computer yet causes it to
crash..?

** Affects: f-spot (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
