[ubuntu-mono] [Bug 270883] [NEW] move the filmstrip to a side

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: f-spot

For widescreen monitors, moving the filmstrip to the top of the window
to a side would make a better use of the space and allow for the picture
to be displayed at a bigger size.

I'm attaching two pictures: one screenshot of how the filmstrip is
placed now, and one mockup of how it could be.
