Apparently it *should* work, but is pretty fragile against unordered
syncs... fragile enough that it's never been usable for me (and requires
that you *know* it's okay to overwrite the existing note). I'm going to
test if it works when aggressively sync'd every time that I start/finish
using a different machine, but I think improved merging is still a
necessary feature to make note syncing really usable.
