Hello,

I did as you requested - the f-spot-debug.txt file is attached. I had
the same error message as before: 'Error connecting to camera - Received
error "Unspecified error" while connecting to camera'.

I did not have gthumb installed, so I did do through Synaptic. On
connecting the camera, it is (incorrectly) identified in the Camera
Model dialog as 'Camera Panasonic DMC-LC1'. In fact it is a Panasonic
DMC-LX2. When I try the 'Import Photos' function it fails with 'An error
occurred in the io-library ('Unspecified error'): No error description
available'.

Thanks for your help!
