Title:
Saved passwords with hashes prevent connection

Status in “gnome-rdp” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: gnome-rdp

If the saved password for a session contains a # symbol, attempting to connect brings up the rdesktop usage message in an error window. Truncated contents are pasted below for context:

rdesktop: A Remote Desktop Protocol client.
Version 1.6.0. Copyright (C) 1999-2008 Matthew Chapman.
See http://www.rdesktop.org/ for more information.

Usage: /usr/bin/rdesktop [options] server[:port]
   -u: user name
   -d: domain
   -s: shell
   -c: working directory
   -p: password (- to prompt)

---SNIP---

There is no indication as to what is causing the behavior. Removing the # symbol from the password resolves the issue.

This appears to indicate the command line options are being passed from Gnome RDP to rdesktop without being properly escaped.
