Your logs dont indicate that it was running for '5 to 30 minutes'.  Also
your logs are pretty useless (other than showing the exception).
Generally we prefer logs from 'debug -d' which dumps out much more
information.

As I said, we could probably clean up the log and give a user friendly
message instead of the stack trace.  I actually just did that.  So now
you won't see an exception+trace but rather something like 'fatal error:
dbus is missing and docky requires it.'

Bug description:
Binary package hint: docky

Subject says it all, but I also have the dieing words of Docky (attached).  I'm not sure what I'm doing to cause this, but the later link in the chain certainly seems clear enough.
