Yes, this probably happens because there is no word "music" in banshee
.desktop file .

Bug description:
  If you open the main screen, you see banshee with "listen to music".
  Yet, if you type "music" in the application search engine, Banshee is
  not even proposed :) Maybe it's related to Banshee more than Unity,
  please advise.
