Public bug reported:

Every time Ubuntu starts or I try to install / remove software I get
this error.  I think it is caused by a couple of unity packages that I
tried to install a while ago whose install failed.  It appears they are
continuously retrying their installation.   Uninstalling them does not
work.  HOW DO I MAKE THIS PROBLEM GO AWAY!!! I AM SICK OF DEALING WITH
THIS!
