hi,
I am running ubuntu 11.04 64bit. Nvidia driver 275.19
I am experiencing similar crashes with the vlc multimedia plugin version 1.1.9 on this site > http://nos.nl/nieuws/live/journaal24/wmv/ and others where the mediaplayer is required to play streams
If I disable the vlc plugin in firefox "nightly" add-on/plugin page the site works fine. I think it's using the compatible totem plugin version 2.32.0 to run the mediaplayer. I have shockwave flash version 11.0 d1 installed. This issue with the vlc plugin started on my PC on sunday july 17 2011. I am also running linux-mint 64bit, same issue and fix.
I can install moonlight plugin 64bit in firefox nightly (8.0a1) but codecs install fails because I don't have permission (permission denied)
Thanks,
Jacob

I tried to playback http://sl.sufism.mtoit.biz/live-webcast/liveplayer.aspx?l=en with VLC or Movie Player.
I can do this live stream (Sundays from 8 to 9:30 am) in windows.
Movie Player says: The playback of this movie requires a text/html decoder plugin which is not installed.
