I'm closing this bug but feel free to open it again if this is still an
issue for you. In any case to debug banshee you have to run it from a
terminal with "banshee --debug" and attach the the log which will be
created in .config/banshee-1 of your home.

Also, when reporting bugs in the future please use apport by using
'ubuntu-bug' and the name of the package affected. You can learn more
about this functionality at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/ReportingBugs.

** Changed in: banshee (Ubuntu)

Title:
Song unknown when adding it through DBus-Mpris

Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

Playing a song using the MPRIS2-Dbus interface ( openUri(uri) ) makes to show an 'Unknown' track, album and artist. However, the song plays correctly.
The same situation happens for songs already in the library or new.

Using Banshee 2.0.0 under ubuntu 11.04
