After a few successful launches when volume level stayed OK, I tried to move to the next track fast and then it happened. Then i launched it in the debug mode, started playback and volume was higher than it was set already, from the very first track. ReplayGain was off. Log is in "banshee.txt".
Next, I re-launched it to prove that the bug arises on track change. Pressing "Next" fast a few times gave the result. Still, ReplayGain off. Saved in "banshee1.txt".
Also, my current locale is Russian, so locale-specific literals have nothing to do with this.

Title:
banshee resets volume on track change
Status in “banshee” package in Ubuntu:
Incomplete
Bug description:
Binary package hint: banshee
While playing an mp3 track, if I set a volume level, it behaves like it should, but then the track changes (or I trigger it) and volume level rises to a max(?) value. The volume slider stays unchanged, and if I touch it, the volume immediately falls to the previous level. This issue can be reproduced regardless of ReplayGain is on or off. Also, on my machine the equalizer has no effect.
Ubuntu 11.04
banshee 2.0.0-2ubuntu1
amd64
