Status in “tomboy” package in Ubuntu:
  Fix Released

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: tomboy

  When dragging items from other apps (e.g. mail from evolution, links
  from Firefox) into a Tomboy note, the cursor moves to wherever the
  mouse pointer is but when releasing the mouse button the link is
  inserted wherever the cursor originally was.  E.g. if the cursor is at
  the beginning of the note and the link is dragged to the end of the
  note, it will still be inserted at the beginning.
