Used 2.2.11 and 2.3.5 with iPod 2.0.4 and I have this problem. Podcast
are not shown under Podcast.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: banshee

  Podcasts downloaded with the podcast plugin sync to the ipod and can
  be played, however they dont show up in the "Music->Podcasts" menu on
  the iPod.

  I guess this is just a missing piece of metadata/list in the database.
  I did have a quick google to see if it was something obvious, but
  didn't spot anything.
