Title:
Workstation lockup using rdp/vnc client
Status in “gnome-rdp” package in Ubuntu:
Invalid
Bug description:
Binary package hint: gnome-rdp
RDP/VNC appear to function normally and will show no signs of any problem during shors sessions.
However if the session is open for more that 10 minutes or so then ubuntu will not respond to any input.
The mouse pointer can be moved over the screen within the client and the desktop but no input from the mouse buttons
or the keyboard will have any response.
The only way I have found to proceed is reset the workstatin with a
hardware reset and reboot.
The session can then be accessed again for a time, however if left
open it will display the same symptoms.
Using ubuntu 606 with all of the updates installed.
Using the Gnome desktop.
Running on a whitebox Intel P4 3000 with 1gb Ram and ATA disk.
