Thank you for taking the time to report this bug. We are sorry that we
do not always have the capacity to look at all reported bugs in a timely
manner.

Beagle, the search software, is no longer included in Ubuntu. Unrelated
genetic analysis software named beagle has now been uploaded to Ubuntu's
archives for the next version of Ubuntu. Therefore, to avoid confusion,
I am closing this bug.

Status in beagle package in Ubuntu:
  Invalid

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: beagle

  Since my update to Intrepid Ibex, at least beagle-search stopped to
  search contents of pdf files. If i search for a word for which i know
  is in some pdf files, i dont get this pdf files as search results.
  Only matches in file names are returned. Package poppler-utils is
  installed.
