  No support for BIOS information

Status in sysinfo package in Ubuntu:
  Confirmed

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: sysinfo

  On e.g. a Windows system it is usually possible to view BIOS
  information (firmware version, serial number, etc) in the system info
  / properties. sysinfo does not show this information.

  It should be possible to use the output from dmidecode to present this
  information to the user... however this would need dmidecode to be
  installed, and for sysinfo to acquire root privileges on launch.
