Roadside Details: New Information for Sta te Licensed Drivers Explore this notification for an update about your state courtesy roadside bundle. Yes, there are three more days this week that they can make it there on time. I was out of the same day as last time so I can see them next week. I will be there at the same time as last time and wanted to go see when they will be there. I was going to move the times back another day to see when they can make it there.

Sometimes I opt for something from the slow-cooker because all I have to do is throw everything in there and leave it alone all day! I usually also have a supply of frozen spaghetti sauce in the freezer, so I can always heat up some pasta really quick. When I make spaghetti sauce, I make it in giant batches so I always have plenty left over for a rainy day.

Licensed drivers receive a Safety Essentials Bag

With ongoing state collaboration, AAA announces the availability of comprehensive Safety Essentials Bags for those holding valid licenses. As a recognized participant, you are invited to take advantage of this kit.

Our latest data shows that eligible drivers can request a bundle while the current allocation is still open. There are fewer than 200 bundles available.

Growing up, I skipped meals all the time as a teenager (and often only eat once a day), but over the years I gotten used to having meals at a certain time. Now it is 3 small meals a day and if I want snacks in between, I have them and don't worry about it. My body responds to this approach much better. If i am craving sugar, I know I am going down with something and need to get an early night and rest up (I get no choice in this, even a simply cold will end up as a recurrent chest infection leaving me on steriods for months). Meals have set times, simply because that's when I get hungry. Not sure which came first, the time or the hunger, but I get hungry at 6am (breakfast if I am up - otherwise as soon as I get up), lunch at midday and evening meal is roughly 6-6:30pm depending on when my OH gets home, which would probably explain why I am often hungry at midnight

My neighbor insists on seasoning every meal her own way before tasting it, while I always recommend trying food as prepared first, to appreciate any subtle flavors. It’s a quirky difference but a fascinating one! Sometimes during family events, debates spark over whose method is best, yet everyone appreciates the shared meals regardless.

Last Thanksgiving, the stuffing came out softer than anyone wanted, but some at the table enjoyed the unexpected change. Even when recipes don’t turn out perfect, we find joy in experimenting and adapting. Cooking is as much about memories and togetherness as it is about tradition; novelty in the kitchen can be pleasing, even if the results aren’t as anticipated.

If you or someone you know likes shaking up routines at dinnertime, you’ll understand the fun in it—no two gatherings ever feel the same!
Cheers,
Jamie

**Comfort Food Reflections** --- **Samantha Lee - 2025-09-04 08:11 AM** Hello all, Just reflecting on those foods that brighten our moods instantly. For me, a big bowl of ramen with all the toppings is unbeatable—warm, filling, and reminds me of late nights with friends in college. Hope to hear your favorite dishes! Samantha --- **James O'Connor - 2025-09-04 09:03 AM** Hi folks, Ramen has a strong fan base, but nothing beats my dad’s baked potato soup with bacon and scallions. It’s what I ask for every birthday! Looking forward to more ideas,

James --- **Lauren Kim - 2025-09-04 09:47 AM** Morning! For years, shepherd’s pie has been my comfort food—layers of rich mashed potatoes, ground beef, and lots of veggies. It's the ultimate cold weather meal and brings back memories of cozy family nights. Stay well, Lauren --- **Reema Joshi - 2025-09-04 10:25 AM** Hello everyone, Hands down, my top comfort food is butter chicken with naan.

Creamy, aromatic, and best enjoyed fresh from the pot. Whenever I’m having a tough week, it’s the first thing I cook! All the best, Reema --- **Owen Bennett - 2025-09-04 12:00 PM** Hi all, I love all these responses! My comfort pick is chili and cornbread—spicy, filling, and great to share with friends on game night. Take care, Owen --- **Samantha Lee - 2025-09-04 01:18 PM** Thank you for sharing! Amazing to see how beloved foods shape our happiest moments. Might have to try a new recipe this weekend. Wishing you comfort, Samantha
