Thanks Scott for posting this proposal. I like it very much and have
been thinking about the problem myself.

Also in the past we've been exclusively discussing some items just in
the MOTU team although the proposed changes affected all developers.
It'd be great for those changes to be
 1) discussed on ubuntu-devel-discuss@ too
 2) be announced on ubuntu-devel@ or ubuntu-devel-announce too

This might not apply to each and every debate we have, but for process
changes (like SRU and FF) it might make a lot of sense to seek input
from a wider range of Ubuntu Developers.

(This is not intended as a change to the proposal, but more of a side-note.)
