I got the same error and i figured out that Firefox created a FILE with
the usual random name instead a FOLDER. I think Firefox has a problem
with that.

As a temporary fix helps:

1. create a folder "default" in "./mozilla/firefox"
2. and put:
   
    [Profile0]
    Name=default
    IsRelative=1
    Path=default

   in .mozilla/firefox/profiles.ini
