[Bug 119577] firefox crashed,caused whole system to lockup

i had multiple tabs open, i tried to click another link open in another
tab from one of the pages. nothing happened. i force quit firefox and
there were numerous small boxes remaining on the screen. i closed one
and they all closed. i tried to restart firefox and it said it was
already running. i tried to end the process and nothing happened. it had
an uninteruptable label on it in the system monitor. so i restarted the
whole system
