[Bug 97428] Re: Firefox doesn't run as a regular user

It was always discouraged to run firefox as root. In previous versions
firefox as root even created cruft beneath the system instll
directories: /usr/lib/firefox /usr/share/firefox.

To fix this you have to purge firefox, remove those directories and
install firefox again:

apt-get remove --purge firefox
rm -rf /usr/lib/firefox /usr/share/firefox /usr/lib/mozilla-firefox /usr/share/mozilla-firefox
apt-get install firefox
