[Bug 122307] 3d effects creates strange lines in thunderbird

Hi,

When 3D effects is enables there are some strange grey lines in the
background of the Thunderbird message pane. There seem to happen at
regular intervals.  This isn't massively inconvenient but enough to make
me turn off 3D effects . Let me know if you need a screen shot.
