[Bug 122848] doesnt recognize dash "-" in URL

I'm using Firefox 2.0.0.4 on Feisty. Tried to access my friend's blog
and smugmug accounts,

http://-js-.blogspot.com
http://-js-.smugmug.com

Both return a Problem Loading... error page.

I have no problems accessing those pages through Firefox on my Windows
machine.
