[Bug 210614] [NEW] Firefox worn out

Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Further to my last report edit preferences = NOOP.
    Also when downloading a pdf file it failed to open in doc reader and simply lost the file.  I could not type into the fields in a web page newark to look up a part.  Exit and reload firefox did not fix it.

     I finally exited Ubuntu and all is okay again.  Wonder if this is
to do with the last ubuntu update?  Any way the worn out SW is restored.
