I may not have restarted firefox after the update, I'm not sure.  One
thing I am sure of is that I restarted firefox and had the same problem
and I fixed it my rebooting Ubuntu.  Hope that  helps.  Just that I find
it a pain having it dump my downloads without a dialogue as to where to
put it without leaving download dialogue and getting into preference
dialogue.  Minor critique.
