Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

I am using UBUNTU 7.1 (Gutsy) with all security updates current. This
is an upgrade over UBUNTU 7.04 (Feisty).

I have a Yahoo mail account and a member of a Yahoo Group that puts new
forum entries into my ail account. I first login to my Yahoo mail
account using my user name and password. (I think this is a secure
page). The majority of the status page loads but HANGS until one or
two added items are loaded. The bottom status bar says "waiting for
usasmm.dotmi.com", or waiting for usweb.dotmi.com." Sometimes it waits
for a Yahoo message to load. This takes a very long time.

Specific problem, Web Page and Firefox Menu bar will not accept clicks.
(ie, Stop, Backarrow, Home etc.) UBUNTU Menu bar is responsive, but
drop down menus remain on the screen even after another major menu is
selected. Menu items do not happen until AFTER the waited for internet
action is shown as "DONE". All attempted actions then happen rapidly.
Firefox refuses to do anything until the loading operation is complete.
It will not even CLOSE.

My connection to the Internet is via Qwest DSL with MSN as ISP. SWpeed
is 3.0 Mbs down.

I did not experience this problem in "Feisty", or in Windows 2000.
