[Bug 217818] [NEW] Thunderbird: Cannot import messages from TB (win) into TB(linux)

I'm using Ubuntu 7.10 and Thunderbird version 2.0.0.12 (20080227) (just
added normally from Ubuntu
I have copied the inbox file from my backup of the thunderbird folder
(from my windows version of Thunderbird) to the mail folder in the
Thunderbird profile folder. But I still cannot see my old emails when I
start Thunderbird again. I have also tried to copy the inbox file into
the Local folder (Global).
When I check the error-console in the tool-menu, the following shows:
