I can confirm this on a 32-bit install. At my house we call this the
"Incredible Disappearing Firefox" bug and it's the oldest bug in Ubuntu
for me, it's been happening on every Ubuntu release, and no other
distribution. (For me). Seeing this bug fixed would make me happy, but
I'm not getting my hopes up high.
