[Bug 220504] Re: Firefox doesn't know what apps to use to open any type of downloaded files

I connected with the usa software sources and restarted firefox and now
preferences -> applications tab has some stuff in the list.

But this could have happened because of update-manager installing 3.0~b5
+nobinonly-0ubuntu3.

In other words, I'm not sure of the cause.
