Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: firefox

Periodically (before and after recent upgrade) screen dims in Firefox
(whether or not on battery or being actively "used"), cursor movement
becomes jerky and no item responds to clicking.. ..I "need" to shut down
by holding in computer's "on" button. Behavior may be "like" massive
take over of all computing resources for something else??
