The brother www.brother.com.au site does show the drop-down-on-the-left issue in FF 3 (current nightly), Seamonkey (stable release), the current hardy Konqueror and in Opera 0.95b2. This very much looks like a problem with the Site itself and not with firefox.
 I can't reproduce the www.news.com.au problem at all in any browser.
