  The dropdown widget looks ugly (not GTK-ish) on the Linux version of Firefox 3 beta 5. See the following page, which contains several dropdown widgets near the top:

  A better look would be one that looks similar to the widget marked "New" in the image below (the image is a screenshot of a "Widget fix" package for Firefox 2 on Linux):
